Dr. Hima Ravindranath, PT, DPT, is a board-certified clinical specialist in oncologic physical therapy, a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She works as a physical therapist at UT Southwestern Medical Center and also serves as an adjunct faculty member at University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Dallas, Texas, where she contributes to the education and mentorship of future physical therapists. Dr. Ravindranath is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Texas Physical Therapy Association, and the APTA Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy. She currently serves as the Director of Professional Growth and Education for the Balance and Falls SIG within the Oncology section and as Secretary for the International Cancer Care Network. Her work includes several projects aimed at improving comprehensive cancer care in low- and middle-income countries.
